The Garden of Eden and all of its myths have long been a source of speculation to theologians and students of religion, predating centuries. Many sources today indicate that the fabled birthplace of mankind may have been somewhere in the Mesopotamian region of Iraq and Iran. Today as the global war on terror and the case for imperialism reigns in the middle east, the United States and its military tread daily across holy sites historical and significant to the spheres of both Islam and Christianity, with many of our men otherwise unaware of the land's significance.

The above picture is from land on the outskirts of Fallujah, Iraq. Somewhere near the famed Euphrates River, and yet somewhere even closer to the possible birthplace of Eden. During his reign as the modern day Nebachudnezzer of Babylon, Saddam Hussein often chose only the most significant real estate in which to set up his despots of power. Whether choosing land for summer vacation homes to his two sons or stealing property for the Baath Party, Saddam marked his prestige and power throughout the land, much like his Biblical predecessor.

September 11,2006, will be remembered as the
anniversary of a nightmare...a nightmare which is still continuing today. At a frightening rate of spending, the Federal Government is throwing future generations to the dogs, and basically achieving the terms of the so-called "terrorists". The so-called talking points of terrorism are the disruption of a sovereign nation's economic infrastructure, the cowing of fear utilized to achieve long-term objectives in the equal disproportion of a society's political and religious communities, as well as the goal to desensitize the masses. Here in the US abroad, those goals are being met by our government at a very alarming rate. The distinction made in seperation of politics and religious clergy is gone, and at times is appearing as blasphemous as the Pharisees and the Scribes whom Jesus Christ Himself had thrown out of the Temple. The failed government of the US is now seen with its counterpoint in the Mid-East, Israel. The reason that Israel did not win the war on Hezbollah, the Hand of Syria/Iran otherwise known as the "Party of God", is because just as Ronald Regan failed to solve a response to terrorism in Lebanon so has the current administration. Instead of offering programs which enable the common citizen a role in fighting terrorism, Uncle Sam is hogging all your tax dollars and telling us that homegrown militias are "vigilantes" and cannot be permitted to guard our leaking borders. Bullshit. Point blank, no one has to be a Patriot by enlisting in the Army of Donald "Bumsfield", where a job done too well equals time in the brig at Camp Pendleton, California. Rather, the common citizen could be enlisted to do jobs similar to those of the Patriots at home during World War II.

Gone are those days, however, and welcome to the machine. The machine of hard-core Fascism, that is. If you are just another mindless minion who does what they are told, you are no better than the terrorists themselves. For in order to follow the doctrine of terrorism, one must not question what they are told, and to do so would be certain death for that individual. So instead, question authority....do not obey. Take off the blinders of deception, and for God's sake, do some independent research. September 11 did not happen just because the Democrats allowed it, or because the Republican National Security Advisor was an Affirmative Action candidate of 2000, September 11 occurred because our government ALLOWED it to happen. Why did we end up with MORE government after September 11? Why is there now a compromised agency otherwise known as Homeland Security? Why has the blame on FEMA not been focused to its parent, Homeland Security? Why do we have a dual citizen, Michael Chertoff (both Israeli and US), controlling the helms of the most Orwellian named Agency yet? Why did Israel fold to Lebanon? Why did Arnold Schwarzenegger meet with Israel's Prime Minister within weeks of taking office in California? Why is Arnold's father a SS Officer from the Third Reich? What interest could Ariel Sharon have with such a man if he were truly representing the interests of Israel? Why is the man who runs President Bush's office, Karl Rove, involved with deep family ties to the Third Reich? Did I wake up in the Twilight Zone where Hitler has been reborn in the Executive Branch and the most powerful lobbying groups that control both Israel and the US? Apparently so, America.

So before the October Surprise and an imminent showdown with Iran, let's get the facts right:

1. One more terrorist attack anything like September 11 will equal Martial Law across the land and complete abandoment of the Posse Commitatus Act

2. The FEMA agency has already carved up the 50 states into 10 seperate Federal Regions for which the US will be officially recognized until the citizens revolt

3. Foreign nations and their militaries will be used to subdue and apprehend Americans in the guise of a World Police acting upon the behalf of the American military stuck on the other side of the globe

4. Much like Hitler used Nationalism as a fein for his rise to power, so has the current oligarchy of the Bush Administration, complete with dressup in military gear even though he never finished his obligation to the Texas Air National Guard

5. The Former Chief of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge, is now serving as a consultant to the nation of Albania wherein the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army exists...and whenever US operatives which are that high up in Agency placement make a crossover to a third world entity like Albania, terrorism cannot be that far behind

6. The crux of the Balkan nations ( Serbia, Bosnia, Albania, Yugoslavia) played a huge role in the origins of World War I, and can only be seen as the future beginning of World War III

Bars are all across America, and all across this blog. Our goal here at Goodtimes is to keep the bars going. From digital imaging at a concert to the signal strength on your cell phone, each prospective viewer on the Internet is a participant in a grander scheme. The Internet is an entity still yet uncompletely utilized in the fullest realization of our dreams. Knowledge is power, and knowledge is derived from the most common of all roots: Curiosity. Media and the mediums in which it is used or presented are shaping the very core of mankind's experience and destiny it has to fulfill. Media MUST evolve, however, and sometimes the end product is not realized until a fatally contrived experiment becomes apparent for all to see.

Case in point: The synthesis of reality and media. The two have become inexplicably interchangable, and often times easily manipulated. Here at Goodtimes, it is not "good times" simply because of the event's context in which it appears to an outsider's eyes, it is a good time to be alive. Especially if you are in the boardroom on a no-bid contract going straight to Iraq. Millions of dollars will go straight to the CEO's pension for retirement, and another private comes home dismembered for life with no clear restitution or financial security for his future. Thanks to the select marketing of a medium called the Media, our nation's masses can no longer see the difference between slick packaging and the disaray of its reality.

There is very little these days to call a positive, but where there are bars, there is communication. If we learn to keep talking, eventually we will work out our problems. Whether communication is performed collectively, or initiated from an individual's mind, as long as the signal prevails the path must be followed...
So keep those bars coming, and remember:

Aww, yes...the Good Times. Nothing could be farther from the truth, but it was a phrase coined often by the men and women of the United States military while fighting in Iraq. Here in this picture, yours truly is grinning ear to ear due to the hilarity of the situation. On my left (with no M-16 in his hands) was the CBS News White House Correspondant, John Roberts, on official assignment during the opening salvo of OIL (Operation Iraqi Liberation), later changed to OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) for all the obvious politically motivated reasons.

As a ground radio operator for the famed 2nd Marine Division, the hilarity of the situation was even greater in magnitude. 2nd Light Armored Reconaissance was the batallion John Roberts was attached to during the opening weeks of the invasion to Iraq, and despite all our outdated Army hand-me-downs, at least our military issue Humvees withstood the test of the desert terrain of Iraq. The CBS News crew rolled with their very own civillian issued Hummer, complete with tweaked out satellite communications system (covered in khaki canopy on vehicle). Three days in, however, the civillian amenities of the Hummer became its downfall, and the vehicle ceased to roll. Now the news crew had to join the rest of us civil yet unruly characters called "US Marines", and quit the daily hideout in their air-conditioned Hummer. So as I grin big in this picture, understand the hilarity of the pathetic media's initial sponsoring of this event, and the humor of when it has to get real for them!!
